My work explores the tension between the artificial and the organic, and between beauty and chaos. A reaction to the overwhelming stimulus of capitalism and consumerism in a digital age, I attempt to sort visual and emotional fragments back together, creating expressive puzzles as artifacts. I seek comforts of nostalgia, nature, and the mundane, abstracting and transmuting emotional energy with color.
